Dhatkidih Kabiria Middle School: This was also established in Oct. 1928 and is the 1st Urdu Linguistic Minority School of the Singhbhum district (undivided) existing on the land leased out by Tata Steel.
Karimia Trust: This was founded in 1944 on a piece of land leased out by the Tata Steel. It runs two cinema houses and is pioneer in this business in the city. There are several middle & high schools run & managed by the Trust. It established Karim City College in 1963 and imparts higher education up to Degree level in Arts, Commerce, and Science.
The Jama Masjid, Sakchi: It was also constructed by Muslims who made this city their home on a plot of land allotted by the Tata Steel. This mosque presents a holy look in Sakchi area just besides the Eye Hospital. There are about 48 mosques in and around the city. Several of them were constructed by those who worked in the Tata Steel and others living in the city.
DhatKidih Mosque: It is the largest in its design and presents majestic look. It is said that such mosque does not exist anywhere in the whole of Bihar State now.
Mohammedan Sporting Club: It was established in 1932 by some youths of Dhatkidih. This club was founded as a copy of the renowned Mohammedan Sporting Club of Calcutta. Many players of this club have been playing in the Calcutta Club and earned great reputation. They became players of national repute. It is situated in Sakchi on a plot of land donated by the Tata steel.
Besides there are many literary, cultural organizations in the city to develop the national awareness and also to cater to the creative instincts of the people of this Steel City.
